I have a narrow hallway into my flat and the only option for a door was a sliding door. As the door is beside the stairs I thought it would be more sturdy to have a track system at the top and at the bottom, rather than the floor guide. After the builder installed the top track I was very glad with this option, as the door was quite flimsy with the top only.The door slides very well, it does make a bit of a noise, but it's not disturbing.
