So glad I bought this stand. Needed something simple to have near my front door to store coats, shoes and bags that wasn’t too bulky and this does the job perfectly! I was able to build this up myself although it did take a bit of time as some of the holes didn’t line up perfectly for the screws to fit into. So glad I bought this stand. Needed something simple to have near my front door to store coats, shoes and bags that wasn’t too bulky and this does the job perfectly! I was able to build this up myself although it did take a bit of time as some of the holes didn’t line up perfectly for the screws to fit into. Also it’s a really strong metal so there’s no way to manipulate it to fit. However, I was able to eventually find a position for the shoe rack to fit together with a little perseverance and once put together it feels strong and sturdy. It came with an Allan key and spanner which was sufficient to put together so no tools of my own were needed to build. The balls on the hooks themselves were already fitted and I checked them as previous reviews state these have a tendency to fall off and become a nuisance, however I couldn’t even move mine or remove them so think they are secure but only time will tell. The feet are screwed in and I suppose you can adjust these if your floor is slightly uneven but luckily I didn’t need to. The top bar is useful for hanging up scarves or to hook your umbrellas from but not needed to use it yet.I love the fact that my children can reach the bottom hooks to hang up their own coats and even with heavy coats on, it hasn’t budged or toppled so shows it’s quite sturdy for what I need it for. Overall, after about 40 minutes putting it together I am really pleased with its overall size. The top shelf would be suitable for wellies or tall boots as they wouldn’t fit underneath but for me it’s not a problem.
