Great bench, very sturdy. Slightly difficult fitting rubber feet as others have mentioned but still didn’t take long to assemble

Good bench
The bench is sturdy and seems well made. It is good value for money compared with similar benches available.Only issue with assembly is that the feet were hard to put on, I needed a flat head screwdriver to help ease them on and one set of the bolts were far too long so I had to buy some washers.Overall good product for a good price.

Commercial quality bench at an Argos budget price
This bench is exceptional value for money and is probably the best flat bench. To put this into context I used to work for a fitness equipment company so am very familiar with both flimsy argos style basic benches through to full commercial grade benches. I would say that the framework is close to commercial grade and the padding is of a good quality residential grade.Some people have complained of the poor instructions and being difficult to put together. This is partially true; the instructions... Read More This bench is exceptional value for money and is probably the best flat bench. To put this into context I used to work for a fitness equipment company so am very familiar with both flimsy argos style basic benches through to full commercial grade benches. I would say that the framework is close to commercial grade and the padding is of a good quality residential grade.Some people have complained of the poor instructions and being difficult to put together. This is partially true; the instructions are not the greatest as they are an exploded diagram and not a step-by-step guide but still fairly easy to follow. The bolts are ok if you have some decent tools, a 14mm and 17mm spanners/socket should suffice without too much of an issue. The only stumbling block is the square foot covers which won't stretch over the metal frame by hand. My tip, soak the foot covers in hot (not boiling water) for a few minutes so they become more pliable, dry them off then attempt to leverage them on with the aid of a flat screwdriver... carefully of course. This part took me about five minutes.Overall it's a very good no frills sturdy flat bench with a long comfortable backpad. Put away

This bench is lightweight in moving around, but STURDY for the work!
The rubber pads were tricky to put in, but otherwise straightforward easy assembly. Great delivery.
