We set up the awning with 2 girls. It was tricky but it worked. It would probably be easier with three. The height is varied at the top through predetermined holes and then adjusted with millimeter precision at the bottom of the foot. The awning is very stable between the terrace floor and the balcony hanging above it. The instructions are not particularly detailed, but were understandable for us.
